Grindleford and Eyam Playgroup are looking for an assistant to join our well-established Wednesday Woodland Adventure session.

Our Woodland Adventures provide wonderful opportunities for the children to play and explore. The high adult:child ratio offers our practitioners the opportunity to form a strong relationship with each child; to observe their discoveries and to support them as they find out what they can achieve.

We are passionate about children accessing the outdoors and having the opportunity to learn in this exciting environment which we hope will inspire a love of learning that will last them for a lifetime.

Our ideal candidate:

* has a commitment to delivering high quality early learning

* enjoys working and playing outdoors

* is self-motivated and reliable

* communicates easily and well with children, families and colleagues

* is energetic, enthusiastic and fun

A childcare qualification would be an advantage.

Working hours are 9.00-13.00 on Wednesdays, term time only.

This is a fixed term contract up to 19th July 2019, with the option of a permanent position in September 2019 for the right candidate.
