The Things We Love

Kirsty – Aside from my wonderful husband and our two gorgeous daughters, who I love beyond measure, I’d say I truly love watching live gigs and theatre and sharing these fantastic experiences with my family. This spring, we already have loads booked and are super-excited to see James, Belle and Sebastian, Hamilton and Stranger Things the First Shadow, to name just a few. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone.

Pauline – The quietness of soft snow falling from the sky. The sound of the rain as it lands on a conservatory roof. I love to go for a walk, looking at nature and breathing in the fresh air. I also love to listen to radio 2.

Sophie – Aside from the obvious; family, friends and partner who I believe are the best in the business, and giving honourable mentions to my 10 year old Jack Russell, Angus, and Newcastle United. I have to say PASTA! Any form, any dish. Bolognese, carbonara, lasagne, ravioli, bring it all on! I’ve been lucky enough to holiday in Italy a few times and it truly holds my heart.

Donna – I love the Sun…the feel of its warmth upon your face in the morning when you rise. Sitting in the garden with a cup of tea in Spring whilst the sun provides the energy for new life to grow. In the summer, endless hours spent outside enjoying the sun’s warmth with family and friends. Watching the dappled hues created in autumn when the sun’s light streams through the trees changing the colours of the world. and in winter enjoying the brightness of the sun reflecting off of crisp white snow. The sun nourishes your soul… I look forward to its return.

Paula – For me, love comes in many shapes and sizes… the biggest being 30, 27, and 25  years of age. Beyond that … the Peak District, with its inspiring beauty and changing seasons,  a cuppa or glass of wine, sat by a real fire and the prospect of the warmth of the sun 🌞 on my face

Libby – I love being outdoors! At this time of year it can seem like a big effort to get outside if we are cosy and snug inside, but I find it’s always worth it. Even a short walk outside can lift the spirits, clear out the cobwebs or reset a tired mind. I love walking in the woods at this time of year (even in the liquid mud!) as small signs of Spring are starting to peep through the ground and appear with the promise of brighter skies and warmer weather. I especially love being outside with the children as they find joy in the most ordinary of things; an interesting stick, a muddy puddle, a duck swimming on the river…
